MANUFACTURING
Industry-leading production equipment, lean manufacturing techniques, high-quality raw materials, and a highly-competent team allow us to supply exactly what our customers demand, exactly when they demand it: products with especially sharp details, high dimensional stability, and pristine surface appearances.
Our consistent success within markets that possess the highest product-quality demands across Europe is not a coincidence.
OUR LOCATION
A Cornerstone of Our Competitive Advantage
Our strategic location within the resource-rich, Northern-European nation of Latvia has enhanced our ability to produce and sell the highest-grade, wooden interior-products at the most competitive prices.
This, in turn, has allowed us to enter into collaborative partnerships with market leaders throughout Europe, resulting in economic benefits for all groups involved.
High-Quality Raw Material
We play to our region’s strengths: the locally sourced Scandinavian Pine that we utilize for production is ideal for finger jointing because of its low knot content, and high degree of spacing between knots.
The result is a cost- effective production line with high rates of throughput yield.
Highly Competent Team
Our company is able to recruit from Latvia’s highly competent labor force, much of which has extensive woodworking experience due to forest-related industries having traditionally been a significant sector of the Latvian economy.
As a key player within the wood products industry, we have been able to consistently take advantage of valuable knowledge spillovers, and thereby drive our firm’s innovation and growth prospects.
Ease of Transport
Here, within Latvia, our location in Allaži is only a one-hour drive (60 Kilometers) from the nation’s capital, Riga.
Known as the “Pearl of the Baltics”, Riga’s use as an extensive trading and shipping center on the edge of the Baltic Sea makes exporting our high-quality interior products a very simple task. We also utilize the nearby ports in Ventspils and Liepāja, both of which border the Baltic Sea.
As you can imagine, our central location within Europe allows us to cheaply and conveniently transport our products either north to Scandinavia, or west to mainland Europe, ultimately lowering prices for our customers.
Reduced Ecological Footprint
Most importantly, our ability to purchase high-quality, locally sourced lumber from nearby forests, as well as export our products shorter distances due to our central location within Europe, has greatly reduced our emissions from transport and shipping practices.
Fortunately, our strategic location has fostered the ongoing success of our company, ultimately allowing us to responsibly manufacture high value-added products for our customers, using economically, environmentally, and socially beneficial practices.
PRODUCTS
Our company’s specialty is production of defect-free, finger jointed Pine mouldings with a wide range of dimensions, profiles and finishes to choose from.
Utilizing our region’s abundance of Scandinavian Pine (Pinus Sylvestris), our core product range also includes doorjambs & interior boards, finger-jointed components and edge-glued boards.
In accordance with our commitment to zero-waste manufacturing, excess sawdust that is accumulated throughout the production process is converted into premium briquettes for heating applications.
Mouldings
Mouldings
Our top-grade, pre-painted mouldings are ready for home installation as soon as they leave our factory.
Coated with UV primer and water based finishes, their appearance is truly pristine.
Although we specialize in producing a wide range of finger jointed mouldings with completely finished surfaces, we also offer stain-grade pine mouldings in the same range of dimensions.

Doorjambs & Interior Boards
Doorjambs & Interior Boards
Like our finger jointed profiled mouldings, our interior door jambs are coated with UV primer and water based finishes to create a pristine look. Profiled from defect-free wooden boards that were created using our efficient finger jointing and edge-gluing processes, our doorjambs are resistant to warping and distortion, resulting in sharp details that are appreciated by homeowners.
Edge-Glued Boards
Edge-Glued Boards
Using our finger-joint wood optimization and edge-gluing technologies,
we are able to produce a wide range of edge-glued boards that are defect-free, and therefore resistant to warping and distortion:
traits that make our boards highly stable.
Our customers are confident in their ability to craft high-quality end products when using our edge-glued boards.

Fingerjointed Components
Fingerjointed Components
We also offer high-quality finger joint components (moulder blanks) that producers can later mold into whichever profiles they desire. Free of defects, our components are valued for the tightness and precision of their finger joints, which later translate into unblemished end product surfaces. We maintain extremely high quality control standards when producing our finger joint components, as they are the foundation of the end products that we eventually produce.
BRIQUETTES
BRIQUETTES
In accordance with our commitment to sustainable practices, excess sawdust that is accumulated throughout our production process is later converted into premium briquettes.
By delivering greater quantities of heat (per unit of mass) than logs, our premium briquettes are valued for their practicality, cleanliness, ease of storage, and competitive price. All of our premium briquettes are manufactured using the Ruf Briquetting Systems line of equipment.
